8 April 1952 - Teatro Brasileiro de Comedia premieres Cacilda Becker in 'A dama das camélias' (La dame aux camelias) directed by Luciano Salce who would soon go back to his native Italy where he would be prominent in the new TV industry.

20 July 1952 - musical revue 'Há sinceridade nisso?', starring Herminia Silva, had been a hit in Rio de Janeiro for many months and now was at Teatro Santana, on Rua 24 de Maio.

10 August 1952 - 'Vá levando... Barnabé'', a revue by J. Maia & Max Nunes replaces 'Pontos e Bancas', written by the same authors. Most of the cast is the same except the departure of Grande Othelo...
28 September 1952 - at Circo Seyssel on Rua Anhangabau old timer country-side-comedian Genesio Arruda still drew crowds to see his act. Genesio was the inspiration to Amacio Mazzaroppi who in another few years would become the most popular comedian in the country.
