14 May 1967 - John Herbert & Antunes Filho present Frederick Knott's 'Black-Out' at Teatro Aliança Francesa.
18 May 1967 - 'Black-Out' premieres on Monday, 19 May 1967 with Eva Wilma, Stenio Garcia, Ivan de Albuquerque, Geraldo Del Rey, Regina Duarte & Newton Prado. 
11 May 1967 - while director Antunes Filho rehearsed 'Black-Out' at Teatro Aliança Francesa, Comédie Française presented 'Le Cid' at Teatro  Municipal and 'Arena conta Tiradentes' was the most popular play according to Bolsa de Teatro.
20 May 1967 - the cast of 'Black-Out' had two performances nightly: at 8:00 PM and 10:30 PM.
30 April 1967 - Brazilian singer song-writer Chico Buarque is good news from Lisbon, Portugal while 'Puppet on a string' with Sandy Shawn is #1 in London, England and Jimi Hendrix with 'Purple haze' is # 5. Frank Sinatra & daughter Nancy Sinatra are #1 at the Billboard charts with 'Something stupid'.
9 April 1967 - Brazilian artist Darcy Penteado at OESP's 'Suplemento Feminino' who's in Rome and have sold some of his paintings to Victorio Gassmann. 
14 May 1967 - 'Georgy, a feiticeira' (Georgy girl) is at its 3rd week at Cine Pigalle. Walter Hugo Khuory's 'A ilha' (1963) with Luigi Picchi & Eva Wilma is back at Cine Metro while David Lean's 'Dr. Jivago' is in its 45th week at Cine Scala now.
14 May 1967 - it's amazing to realize that Claude Lelouch's 'Un homme et une femme' (Um homem... uma mulher) which won the Palm d'Or in Cannes in May 1966 - would be released only on 24 May 1967 - a whole year behind. At least the movie inaugurated a brand new movie house: Cine Gazetinha on Avenida Paulista, 900. 
14 May 1967 - some of the plays showing in São Paulo in mid-May 1967: 'America' with the Beat Generation poetry at Teatro da Rua; Plinio Marcos' 'Dois perdidos numa noite suja' at Teatro da Rua too; actor-comedian Jose Vasconcelos routine at Teatro Paramount; Mr. Vasconcelos had been doing the same show for almost 10 years now.; Sofocles' 'Edipo Rei' at Teatro Maria Della Costa with Paulo Autran & Tereza Raquel; at TBC Lauro Cesar Muniz's 'Infidelidade ao alcance de todos' was in its 9th month with Altair Lima, Procopio Ferreira, Rodolfo Mayer, Rosamaria Murtinho, Gloria Menezes & Francisco Cuoco. 
20 May 1967 - Sao Paulo's TV Bandeirantes Sunday programme; see 'Calouros da Juventude' MCed by Barros de Alencar at 12 noon and 'Quadrado e Redondo', a Brazilian-rock show from 5:00 to 6:15 PM.
26 June 1968 - Eva Todor, Tonia Carrero, Eva Wilma, Leila Diniz, Odete Lara & Norma Benguel marching against the Military Dictatorship in 1968, during the time Eva was in the midst of  the 'Black Out' run in Rio de Janeiro and they struck for 3 days against Police Brutality.
